With six new signings already through the door, it’s time for Rangers to start focusing on the outgoings. There are less rumours surrounding new signings but rumours of departures are coming thick and fast. Here’s your Rangers Tuesday transfer update.
Antonio Colak
I wrote yesterday about the apparent interest from the Bundesliga in the Croatian striker. Now, today, The Sun are reporting Serie B sides Pisa and Parma are also interested in a £2m move for the 29-year-old. The article had this to say;
German outfit Werder Bremen are eyeing a £2million swoop.
But it’s understood Serie B rivals Parma and Pisa have already lodged an interest in the 29-year-old.
Robert Grieve for The Sun
The interest really seems to be hotting up just now. Could this be the end of his spell at Ibrox? He’s only one year into his three year deal and it remains unclear if the club can rely on Kemar Roofe for the upcoming season. Any injuries to one of the new signings/Roofe could leave Rangers looking light up top.
Would you sell him now?
Glen Kamara and Scott Wright
Another two names who appear to be top of the ‘sell list’, with the Daily Record reporting interest from the English Championship in both players. The article only had this to say though;
And Colak could be joined out the door by Glen Kamara and Scott Wright with the pair understood to be attracting interest from the English Championship. Potential exits could pave the way for new arrivals with the aforementioned Danilo a wanted man and long-term target Jose Cifuentes expected to leave LAFC for Ibrox with the clubs in ongoing talks over his services.
Graeme Young for The Daily Record
Not really much to go on with this one, Wright was previously linked to Preston who were apparently priced out of a move. There’s no mention of who Kamara could end up at but presumably it would be a higher end Championship club. Both were fringe players last season under Michael Beale, so let’s hope the club can get some funds in to spend elsewhere.

Divine Mukasa
The highly sought after England U16 international recently left West Ham and has been linked with Rangers, Newcastle and Manchester City.
Apparently he’s already visited Glasgow and had a tour around Ibrox and the Rangers training centre. I don’t know much about him but one thing is for sure, Newcastle and Man City aren’t bad company to be in competing for a player. Apparently he’ll make his decision on his future soon. It will be interesting to see if Rangers can get another promising English youngster in. Should he arrive he’ll join the likes of Archie Stevens and Zak Lovelace in the youth set up, very decent company.
Conclusion
With the way these rumours are flying around it could be an interesting week for Rangers. Colak, Kamara and Wright exiting could give Michael Beale the funds for another target. Danilo maybe?
Who would you like to see go? Do you think Rangers should be keeping any of these players?
